KHOJLAB APPROACH
A Structured Agile “Prototype To Learn” Process
We created a structured and agile “prototype-to-learn” approach to the project that involved carrying out global market research, followed by ideation, prototyping, and user journey mapping in a 4-week exploration cycle. Our focus was on reframing how the organization thinks about its product categories. We brought inspiration from adjacent categories in the market, a global scan of products, and mapping the story of the product’s role in solving a customer’s problem to help our client develop a user-centered lens for new product development.
Impact/Outcome
A human-centered design lens to better define new offerings in the lawn & garden category
We provided a human-centered design lens to better define new offerings in the home & garden category. We were able to engage with the organization to broaden their thinking regarding new product ideas while speeding up their innovation process. The client will continue to iterate on our initial exploratory ideas by working across their organization to test and validate ideas with consumers.
